The open holographic reticle pattern is designed to be instantly visible in any lighting conditions. Instinctive to center regardless of the shooting angle, it stays in view when sweeping an engagement zone or when engaging moving targets. The standard 65 minute of angle ring has four alignment ticks and a 1 M.O.A. aiming dot. The HWS delivers an impressive ten million to one (10,000,000:1) bright to low reticle contrast ratio, ensuring that the reticle is always visible. The reticle can be easily seen against targets in full sunlight - even in desert or tundra environments, and in moonlight.
Includes both an Allen head cross bolt with wrench and a tool-less thumb knob bolt with coin slot, and 2 AA alkaline cells. Shown here on an AK (cal. 5.56 x 45 mm) with the UltiMAK M1-B optic mount and a Ruger Mini-14 with UltiMAK M4-B optic mount.
This sight is ideal on a flat top AR-10 / AR-15 / M-16 / M-4, and it works well on the Mini-14, Mini-30, AK and M1 .30 Carbine when used with UltiMAK mounts. EOTech sights will co witness iron sights on flat top AR type rifles, but will not co witness on AKs, Mini-14/30s, or .30 Carbines.
