Aimpoint, the world leader in reflex sight technology, adds another dimension in flexibility and preparedness. Mount the 3x magnifier behind a reflex or holographic sight and you have a bright and clear 3x scope system that can be converted back to a 1x CQB system with a push-and-twist of the TwistMount ring-- 1x to 3x and back without ever removing the zeroed portion of your optics. The 3x magnifier can also be used as a compact hand-held monocular. The photo at right shows the 3x mag, the TwistMount with spacer. Shown here is the 3x Mag on a TwistMount with the QRP Spacer, which puts the magnifier at proper alignment with the CompC3 2 MOA sight in the GG&G cantilever ring, with is also the same height as the Aimpoint QRP ring with the spacer. The Cantilever ring places the Aimpoint Comp sight far enough forward that the excellent A.R.M.S. #40L-P folding rear sight can be kept on the rifle at all times and with no need for a forend rail.
